Seal verification

Was this payment checked before it moved?

Every payout SafePay releases carries a seal in the note PayPal shows the recipient, like Sealed by SafePay SP-3F9A0C21BE. Enter it here to see the signed record of that payment: the rules it was judged under, the checks it passed, and whether the record is intact and chained to the one before it.

What a seal proves

That this payment was decided by SafePay before PayPal moved it: a written policy, a check of the payee on the live web, a check that the payment served the agent's task, and a person's approval when the rules asked for one. The record was written at that moment, hashed, signed and chained, so it cannot be rewritten afterwards without this page saying so.

What it does not

It does not vouch for the goods or services, and it says nothing about payments that did not go through SafePay. A payment without a seal is not necessarily fraudulent; a seal that does not verify here is worth questioning.
